So I spend some $$$ and get a golden version of Gelbin Mekkatorque.

Now suppose I chose to disenchant Gelbin Mekkatorque so I can make some other cards for playing around, testing etc

Have I just permanently lost Gelbin Mekkatorque or will he come back for release when our accounts are reset?

Gelbin is not disenchantable.

Once you get Gelbin, you'll have him forever. You won't "lose" him when there are card wipes.
