I don't understand why- Mutilate has arguably the worst DPS ramp time in the game, which makes fights with a lot of target switching a joke. So I have to ask- if rogues manage to find a fight where the spec is truely viable, why not just let it be viable and very powerful? Combat DPS is already in line with other melee DPS classes.

This change, however expected; is rather amusing simply because it always seems like the MASSIVE QQ always gets their way in the end. The poison change was amazing, needed and I'm glad you are not just reverting it. A great Idea for Mutilate would be to change Hunger for Blood into a 2 or 3 min cooldown ability that we can use for Burst situations. This in my personal opinion solves two things. It gives the dagger wielding spec a burst like ability for burn phases meanwhile reducing the "significant" gap Assassinate has over other DPS classes. Additionally it doesn't put so much power into a single talent point that you as Blizzard do not like in the first place. Since the change to Combat doesn't need to be as significant maybe it should just stay as is.
