Arena Latency Issues

This is a continuation of a prior thread. The recent realm maintenance may have resolved arena latency issues for many battlegroups, but to be certain I'm gathering more data so we can determine how this situation is looking currently.

If the issues seem to be resolved for you, please feel free to post here and let us know.

If not, and there still seem to be issues, it would be helpful to us if you can post in this thread describing any issues you're still experiencing in the following format:

Realm: <realm name>
Battlegroup: <battlegroup name> (you can locate your battlegroup here: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/pvp/battlegrounds/battlegroups/)
Issue: <describe the nature of the latency or issue you are experiencing here>

Okay guys, that's given us a good read on what's occurring for now.

I don't have an ETA on when this will be resolved specifically, but at least for the moment, is no longer necessary to post this information.

I'll lock the thread for now, and re-open it when I have a more concrete update.

Thanks for the updates guys. Also, are you noticing any unusual levels of latency while not in the arenas?

How do the current levels of latency compare to the conditions you experienced prior to when the issue arose?

I don't have any updates available currently except to say that the latency in arenas is something that we are aware of, and that is still being worked on.

I know that's not exactly satisfying, but it's all I have at the moment =(.

This isn't correct, actually. This issue is isolated to a set of battlegroups, not all of them. That's part of the reason I'm continuing to compile information.

I'd also like to issue a thank you to you guys. My focal point of play is the arena too, and the battlegroup my main is on happens to be affected by this issue as well. In short, I'm aware of how frustrating this situation is and that many of you have remained calm and helpful is impressive. I'm genuinely grateful.

I'm pursuing new information about the arena situation as we speak, but I'm unsure of when I'll have a substantive update for you all.

As to why I'm requesting this data from you guys? Very occasionally there are issues which simply do not appear via internal testing, and seem to require other factors to be in play.

As a result, acquiring updates from you allows me to ensure that nothing and no-one is 'slipping through the cracks', so to speak.

Apologies also for any edits or deletions guys. I know you want to vent your frustrations, but it's important to keep this thread as clean and easy to compile information from as possible.
