Q u o t e:Probably after it's resolved. Unfortunately if issues like this get resolved overnight while we sleep, we are just not here to post about it. There's no great panacean solution to sooth the situation until the issue is resolved and that's unfortunate. :-(
Cry while asleep?
Will a Blizz poster post to tell us it's up when it is, or not?^^
Q u o t e:It's understandable that you're very keen to help out testing the new content for us and we really do appreciate that. However, there's really no need to to be antagonistic towards us -- we're trying to help the situation. Yes it'd be great if every time we pushed a PTR build to every public test realm that everything went smoothly. But this really isn't what a public test environment is like and it has pretty much always been like this. Ultimately if you're getting too frustrated with PTR testing, then please consider moving back to the live realms instead because it is the stability and smooth performance of those realms that we have as our top priority; testing phases can just be too chaotic and frustrating for some people.
You should check whether PTR works properly before publishing it. You post PTR and now it's even impossible to copy a character. What's the point? I'm curious how it's going in US... Did they find panacea or they didn't need it ?
Q u o t e:Well we realise that the situation isn't ideal and we are trying to resolve it. We do hear the frustration and empathise with it.
The only thing that makes me a bit frustrated at the moment is the fact that we can't copy our characters while it seems the US don't have this kind of troubles with the PTR, not to speak about crashes, or bugs, or water missing...
Q u o t e:Thanks Upsilon (and others)! I only wish our reassurances weren't a buff with such a limited duration!
I feel really bad for Wryxian :( All these threads about the character copy.
Q u o t e:Taking the time to change the functionality of the page and the processes behind it would be time better spent on actually resolving the issue. It's not evil it's just unfortunate.
Uhm, would it not be easier to hold on your end? I'm not trying to antagonize but it is a bit evil to allow and accept people's char copies when they might not know there is an issue and you guys do plus you will know when you have fixed it.
