Battlemaster's trinckets

I’m considering buying a [url=http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34050] Battlemaster's Perseverance[/URL] for a trinket, but I’m not sure how the increase in maximum health works. Basically if I have 10000 max health, but only 5000 health left and I activate it, does it then increase my current health to 6750, and if so do I lose those extra 1750 health after the 15 seconds have passed?

Yes.

It does increase your health, and it does take it off at the end of the 15 seconds. If you have less than 1750 when the 15 seconds is over you'll drop to 1hp.

I would expect that it would still drop by 1750 at the end of the 15 seconds, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't, but I havent tested it on a warlock I'm afraid.
