"Failed to open archive ****/locale-****.MPQ

When i press the WoW icon, there goes along time and then it says "Failed to open archive ****/locale-****.MPQ", and i have tried to repair WoW, restore, delete the cache folder and WTF folder, but nothing works! similar to the cache error i think..

Please help! :D

Hi Ironaxe,

It does sound like you may need to reinstall the game but when reinstalling, you will need to ensure all traces of the game of removed first.

If you are using Windows XP, delete the folder where the game was installed and check these locations too:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft

Some other folders to check, if you're using Windows Vista:

C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft
C:\users\[username]\Appdata\Local\virtualstore\Program files\World of Warcraft

If you have a Wrath of the Lich King DVD, just use that DVD to reinstall all three games.
