Forced PvP in the Underbelly?!! really???

So I am probably asking for a trolling/flaming here but what is up with forced PvP in an area needed for fishing? I understand that people enjoy it but why is this in place on a PvE server?

This came up in Beta a lot and it seems like most of you here, are not sure about the mechanics down there, so here a small advice.

If you don´t want to pvp, go to the NPC at the entrance, ask him for a personal guard or tell him to set up the guards in the whole area and you are save.

You do not need to pvp if you don´t want to, the NPC is there for a reason. All professions have quests down there for the forge, the NPC is there to make sure, you can do them whenever you want.
