Removal of "Immortal" from GotR?

Hi.

Backstory : we attempted immortal last raid period (this one we went for <21) and while fighting gluth multiple people died from decimate. We thought this was buggy behaviour since combat logs didn't show any buffs falling off or anything and since a similar thing happened like 10 minutes later to another guild in naxx at the time.
So we contacted a GM in order to try to fix this problem either by:
a) granting the achievement if we finished the instance without dying on a boss - nope
b) resetting our death count - nope
c) resetting our raid ID to try again (didn't mind having to re-clear since there are few raid periods left before the patch) - nope. They could have done this but at an account by account method which means some of us may have gotten a reset and others wouldn't - not worth it in our eyes.

Before leaving though the GM mentioned that due to this buggy behaviour on Gluth (and other reasons?) that the "Immortal" achievement was being removed from the Glory of the Raider achievement.

So, to the point of my post. Is the Immortal achievement being removed from the Glory of the Raider achievement? And consequently, does that mean that when the patch hits those who have all the other requirements for the GotR meta will receive the achievement and the proto-drake? We intend to keep attempting Immortal till then, but it would be nice to know.

Thanks for your time.

No plans to do this at this time. The "immortal" style achievement from Ulduar has changed a bit, but that is part of a new/separate meta-achievement.
