Why are we being punished?

Why are Night Elf, Blood Elf, Human, and Troll priests punished for not being part of the bandwagon Dwarf/Draenie/Undead holy triangle? Why are we punished for wanting to play races we like?

I do not understand HOW this system is FAIR in any sense, NO OTHER CLASS IS PUNISHED FOR ROLLING THE WRONG RACE.
