the thread was locked. After MANY people commented and wanted a more adult response. But it was burried and locked instead.

If a forum post is locked by a moderator or Blue poster, you will see the fancy lock icon next to it in the forum list, like the lock icon next to this one. The previous thread autolocked itself at 500 replies (as any forum post made here is designed to do, to reduce forum stress), and I personally unlocked it for the good of the discussion.

That said; OP, this is your warning. Constructive criticism is tolerated here; personal attacks and extreme negativity is not. Posting here is a privilege, not a right, and posts like this are the fast track to losing that privilege.
