Can anyone help me out here? I recently downloaded WoW on another 1 of my PCs, and it says when I try to play, "You need a 3D Accelerator Card with Dual TMU Support to run World of Warcraft", or something like that. Can anyone tell me where I can get one of these 3D Accelerator Cards w/ Dual TMU Support? Thanks.

Hi Centuriot,

Can you tell us more information about your computer? You can find most of the information if you go to Start -> Run -> dxdiag (or on Windows Vista, Windows Key + R -> dxdiag)

I'll need the following info:
System tab
Operating system:
Processor:
Memory:
DirectX Version:

Display tab
Device Name:
Driver Version:
Driver Date:
Driver DDI Version:
DirectDraw Acceleration:
Direct3D Acceleration:
AGP Texture Acceleration:

Keep in mind that older video cards such as the ATI Rage 128s and NVIDIA TNT2/Riva/Vanta are not supported.

A 3d accelerator card w/ dual tmu support..

Pretty much any video card made from the year 2000 will include a dual texture unit as well as a hardware transform and lighting engine. There are some that do not apply, like the early Intel integrated series video cards. For a list of supported video cards, please check http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=21085
