Ever play a caster or healer that has mainly casted spells to get a heal or spell off? I doubt you have.
Prot Paladins in Holy Gear are absurd. I get hit with Avengers shield and I am silenced. After that I get hammered full duration for 6 seconds because I end up grounding damage like Chaos Bolt etc...
Why is this even allowed? 20 second hammer of justices, 6k avengers shields (non mitigated) with a silence tacked onto it which adds a daze effect as well, and absurd amounts of healing.
I Dont give a crap how gimp of a spec the healing can be for paladins because of the lack of Holy Shock but In the time I am silenced and Eating a hammer of justice in a BG I cant even survive with 1 dps casting or hitting me.
Something that should be taken out from Guarded by the Light is the ability for healing crit bonus from the talent. That way you have protection paladins able to "PVP" and have holy paladins go back to a favorable holy spec.
