Demon Invasion Event Test June 16-17

With thanks to all testers who participated in our demon invasion Beta test last week, we're going to have another.

On Thursday, June 16, starting at 10:00 a.m. PDT, we will activate a demon invasion realm in the Legion Beta. This Beta realm will be dedicated to testing the pre-expansion demon invasion event with as many testers as possible for approximately 24 hours, and we expect to remove the realm after 24 hours have elapsed.

We ask that all Beta testers please join us in focusing testing on the demon invasion realm when it is available. Other Beta realms will not be available during this 24-hour test.

Please direct your pre-Legion event feedback to the Beta General Discussion forum, and please direct any feedback you have about other Legion subjects to the appropriate dedicated subforum.

We're still planning to begin this test at 10:00 am PDT. As mentioned in the original post once the event begins the other realms will not be available. There will be a brief delay as we bring those realms down and bring the Demon Invasion realm up.

I wanted to brief you on a known issue that we're aware of. Right now for testing purposes we have invasions up constantly, switching between zones every so often. We discovered a bug last night that prevents your character from doing an invasion in another zone for ~2 hours after completing one.

This isn't intended, and we're working on a fix for this (we hope to have that ready to deploy today). Since the invasions themselves are up and running we're going to go ahead and start the test at the scheduled time. If you run into the "lockout" issue, you can either wait or use the character template system to make another character and try out an invasion in another zone.

No. The pre-launch invasions take place in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, so it's not necessary to complete any Legion-only content.

That's correct. Demon Hunters are disabled, and Broken Shore is disabled as well.
