Just started the Beta so I am not sure who all gets the quest to take the portal to the Dalaran Crater (I did it on a priest I made), but when you re-enter after taking the portal be prepared to free fall to the ground where you character will die (no going down achievement here). There is a nice little pile of skeletal remains where you land so I am guessing it has happened a lot.
