Why do many people in this game want to have everything given to them? 2 million gold for this mount now gives me a reason to work to triple my current gold so that i can buy it, and i MIGHT be one of the few to do so. most people wont be able to afford it, and those that do might still not buy it as the idea of spending so much on a mount is ludicrous.
Advantages of the current price and mount
- RARE RARE SUPER RARE mount (unless hyper-inflation happens)
-Something to work towards that'll take time
-An achievement in itself
-something cool to show off with (legendary almost)
-unique as it is the only spider mount in game (so far)
-doesn't offer a must have bonus, ie its just a mount so people cannot complain. (although some will)
-gold sink for many players who have MILLION of gold rotting away (gold doesn't rot :P)
Disadvantages of mount
-some people may really want it but can't afford it
Counter argument
Just because you may want something doesn't mean you should get it. this isn't something you need, this doesn't give you an advantage over anyone else. its simply a cool thing to have for people who want something rare in their favourite game, and rare things in wow that isn't RNG based are few and far between
Sorry for the long post but it bothers me when people want the priced reduced, (to 100 000) . Why? why not leave the price as it is and have something to work for just because you want it and its cool.
