Greetings all,

We're bringing down the Alpha realms in order to deploy a new build. No ETA for today's push.
As usual I'll leave the thread open for general discussion as long as posts remain civil and adhere to forum guidelines.

Thanks!

Good afternoon,

Much like last week's build, today's build update mainly contains iteration on existing feature content (Zones, Artifact Powers/Traits, Class Talents and spells). I know most of you are eager to hop in and starting testing new features and we want to get in there as soon as possible, but in the meantime it's really important for us to get you the latest code and data changes to make your feedback and testing as relevant as possible. We'll try to get some updated Class Design notes out for everybody as well.

As always, we'll keep you updated on any new additions as they come. Thanks for testing!

Does anyone know a page or website that is dedicated to server availability for the alpha. And can someone explain this image of servers. http://imgur.com/eL8tAi5, im thinking it will be the beta realms but im not sure.

Those are the beta servers but Legion isn't ready until blizz comfirms it.

Those are the PTR (6.2.4) realms.

Legion Alpha realms are still offline for maintenance.

Any ETA yet?

Alpha Realms are now live - we're aware of a client crash that can occur to a select number of accounts (doesn't appear to be all accounts). Unfortunately for the accounts that are affected by it, it does seem to happen quite frequently.

We're working on a fix but it likely won't be deployed tonight. Apologies for the delay in your testing.

Getting reports that the client crash can potentially be avoided if you log right back onto the same character you crashed from.

We're obviously still investigating and hope to fix, but in the meantime hopefully this lets you get in the game world sooner.
