Mixed Emotions

When I first started back in BC my friends would terrify me with tales of the price of a mount at level 40. You needed to save over 100 gold (which was a metric ton of gold back then). I started wheeling and dealing on the the AH and was over 3k by level 40. (I also sold fiery weapon enchants. Good gold there.)

So here I am many years later and I notice that I don't have a Mechanical Chicken. I've done 2/3 of the OOX quests so I spent this morning grinding up that darned beacon in the Hinterlands. I'm about to quit when it drops, and now I have my chicken.

So the pet collector in me says HOORAY but the AH guy in me knows what that thing sells for. Happy sadness.

That makes 579 pets. Getting closer.
