To everyone complaining about hunters, I'd just like to mention that we've also nerfed the Cornered damage increase from 50% to 20%.
This should make the strategy of purposefully summoning a pet at low health significantly less effective.

We agree that PvP damage was too high across the board. There were several changes in Patch 6.1 that caused a general increase in PvP damage, and this change was meant to counterbalance that.
We never stop paying close attention to class balance in PvP, and we'll always make further adjustments whenever we think they're needed.

This hotfix has been reverted.

After further consideration and your overwhelmingly negative feedback about this hotfix, we recognize that it was probably a bad call and we've decided to remove the 10% damage reduction in PvP.

Thanks again for your continued feedback while we continue to look for more opportunities to improve PvP combat in WoW.
