Bug: Fifty Shades of WoW (Grey Landscape)

I'm not sure what's causing it, but currently on Live the colors of WoW are vibrant and crisp. Contrast that to the PTR where the effects almost look bland and somewhat life-less. Compare the Priest's Incarnate Shoulders to their Beta version for a good example, or just look at the game world compared to live.

Did the Sha win or something in the end?

Jokes aside, the Lighting effects have become significantly reduced. The saturation of color in the game all across the PTR is very, very poor and I would hate to see it go live like this. This was not the case in prior patches either.

Needless to say this is a significant step back in quality.

Hey folks,

Thanks for the reports. We're already aware that there is an issue with the lighting being a bit off in the PTR client. The change in lighting was not intended on our part and we're currently working on a fix.

By the way , are you guys aware that you literally can't set your lighting quality to HIGH as well?
it automatically goes back to Good.

Yes, that's another known issue that we're currently working on ;)
