Are Blizzard ignoring sticky requests?

I have made several sticky requests on the realm forums, yet it seems the threads in question never get sticky.

Are Blizzard generally ignoring these requests? Is there some kind of special trick to make them notice the request?

(Putting this in general because there seems to be no website/forum sub-forum anymore)

I've stickied the threads you mentioned, Spellweaver.

Unfortunately the Request Sticky button is misused a lot, we sometimes get hundreds of requests a day (mostly for threads that aren't things we'd normally sticky such as guides or announcements) so it's actually better to drop us a line directly if you'd like something stickied.
