As a point of clarification, when we're actively testing a patch on the PTR (before its release to our retail servers) we strive to have the PTR downtime kept to a minimum, and will do our best to provide updates and ETAs when they go down. When we're not actively testing an upcoming release(such as now), the PTRs can and will go down without warning or updates. Likewise, when they come back online, there may not be updates to that effect. The PTR forums are not actively monitored by the Quality Assurance (QA) department when no scheduled testing is ongoing.
When there is an upcoming release that is ready to be tested on the PTR we'll be sure to post that information here on these forums.
