Macro Frustration

So heres my simple macro to change from my two handed axe to shield and one hand:

/equip Malevolent gladiator's slicer
/equip Malevolent gladiator's shield wall
/cast Spell Reflection

Sometimes it works fine.. one click im equipped with shield and one-hand, two clicks im spell reflecting.
Sometimes it decides not to work and says "Cannot equip that with two handed weapon - must have shield equipped"

I didnt know whether this belongs in macro thread... glitch thread..warrior thread... so i just threw it here.

Anyone got any clue why my macros success depends on how WOW is feeling that particular time?
