On Thursday, July 11, we will continue testing raid encounters in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid. We'll begin with 10-player Normal testing, and then move on to Heroic and then 25-player mode as the PTR cycle progresses.

Each encounter should be available at approximately the listed times below for all Public Test Realms.

Thursday, July 11

Norushen - 10 Player Normal
13:00 PDT (16:00 EDT, 22:00 CEST)

As always, this testing schedule is very fluid and subject to the realities of a beta environment. We might have to change the time of a testing session, change the boss being tested, or cancel a test entirely, due to bugs, server hardware issues, etc. Keep an eye on this forum for the latest information, and thank you in advance for testing and providing feedback.

Important Testing Notes

Q: How do I get into the raid zone?

A: In northeastern Vale of Eternal Blossoms, in the exposed foundations of the Mogu'shan Palace, there is a staircase descending towards an instance portal. That is the entrance to the Siege of Orgrimmar raid.

Q: What gear do I use to test the raid?

A: Whatever gear you have. As we did for Throne of Thunder raid testing, we will be scaling players' gear inside the raid in order to facilitate testing. Gear will be scaled (up or down, as appropriate) for the purposes of testing the encounters, depending on difficulty and their location within the zone.

Due to some issues causing likely client crashes inside the Garrosh compound, we're canceling the scheduled Thok testing session tomorrow. Norushen will still proceed as scheduled.

With Thok canceled, think Norushen can be bumped to an evening test? more people make those tests. When you have 2-3 you don't have a choice but to schedule the AM one, but with only one test tomorrow, an evening one would net better participation.

Over the course of the testing period as a whole, we'll try to have at least one day with only a late session and no early session to balance it out, but remember that those "evening" tests that are convenient for you also occur at 1 or 2am for a large portion of interested participants.

We try to keep schedule changes to a minimum once they've been announced, since we understand the inconvenience of the disruption such changes can cause.

Do you guy's ever do weekend testing? or LATE LATE night testing? I'd kill to get a chance to see the new content and try it out but unfortunately I work second shift and dont get home till 11pm PST on weekdays. Will I ever get my chance to see it in the PTR? =(

When we test LFR and/or Flexible mode, we'll leave those open for much larger windows, often including entire weekends. We'll provide notification on this forum once those modes are ready for testing.
