I'm pretty sure there are multiple other threads with the same suggestion, but there should be a realm option that goes back to TBC. Max level, available gear, talent system, everything just like it was in what was probably the best expansion of the game.

Yes, this idea has appeared every now and then. However, we've said that we're focusing on moving WoW and its story forward, not leaving it at a static point in the past.

Hehe, well the topic does come up from time to time and I suspect there are lots of people that haven't seen our previous responses to it, so it's worth repeating our stance every once in a while :)

It's actually really nice to see how people debate legacy realms, and to see players admitting that—while it's certainly a nice idea—in practice it probably wouldn't be that cool. At least not long term.
