deleting character and account bound achieves

Not sure where to ask this so, but i figures here would be best.

I have a mage i got many FoS with and a large number of other achievments on. If i was to delete it, would i lose the FoS and acheiements across my account?

As far as I am aware, Tyrayn, as long as the achievement is considered to be "account wide", even if the character is deleted the Battle.net account, and any associated characters should retain it.
