Blizzard Entertainment’s university relations and World of Warcraft development teams are proud to present the second annual World of Warcraft Student Art Contest! This year, we’re calling on college and university students to submit an original environment piece and/or original character piece that they think would be a great fit for World of Warcraft.
Entries will be judged by Blizzard employees, including members of the World of Warcraft art team, with three grand prize winners chosen for both contests. The grand prizes include a three-month mentorship with Blizzard artists, one free year of World of Warcraft, a notebook containing an original sketch by a Blizzard artist, and a Blizzard T-shirt.
If you’re an enrolled college student, this is your chance to get some one-on-one time with industry professionals who can assist in preparing you for a career in the videogame industry. The deadline for all entries is Tuesday, January 15, 2013, so get cracking!
