Silly tooltips?

Is there a reason for the new tooltip wording/changes? So far all I can guess is that blizzard is trying to tailor to the minors or casuals of WoW, slightly losing the professional text.

Most tooltips seem to have tips on how to use the ability, personally I thought it was nice for people to experiment and learn themselves, its more rewarding.

Another example is Searing Pain.. instead of causing a high threat, its changed to "the target will be very angry with you".
