Is there any way to reduce the excessive volume of the launching noise? Or to disable it completely?

When I press the "Play" button on the new launcher the resulting BONG noise is painfully loud. Ridiculously so. I now have to press the mute button on my speakers before launching the game, which when I'm in a Skype convo with my guild is kinda annoying.

We are aware of this issue and we're working on a fix that should arrive with an upcoming patch.
In the meantime, try to brace yourselves before hitting 'Play' ;)
