Problems logging into the MoP PTR

I installed the game, everything goes fine, I can log in but when I have to select a realm, It freezes on logging into one and I even get disconnected a lot. I've tried several things that I read on the forums already but nothing seems to help. I'm using a MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz Intel Core i7 with 4GB RAM etc. never had any probs with loading the game before so I have no clue what the problem is now.
Can somebody please help me? :)
