Diablo II soundtrack - Blue Tracker

After Blizzard launched the new music section of its site I sampled some of the DII songs and, well, went down memory lane. I guess I'd forgotten most of them. So I bought the album.

And it's just sent a stark reminder to me as to how much WoW's music can suck sometimes compared to even Blizzard's older games.

Seriously. Diablo II is just moody as hell when it comes to the sound track. Why didn't some of this carry over to WoW?

I really like both the Diablo and the WoW music, for many reasons.

It's not really fair to compare them, given that the quantity of excellent WoW music is so large, and it was composed and recorded in four different efforts, each with a different soundscape.

I can't wait for you to hear the Diablo 3 score.
