Why can't "abuse" tickets go to the top of the pile ?

Submitted a ticket yesterday at 1PM regarding severe player abuse.

By 6 am this morning (when I last logged off) it still hadn't been answered.

So my question is this, since "abuse" is more important than a game issue (no matter what the game issue in question is), why don't abuse tickets get given priority ? so that a GM can immediately look at the chat and see what was said etc and take appropriate action.

Yes I know such a system itself could be abused, by people putting "abuse" to get their ticket looked at quicker. But if it is seen that the player has abused the facility, then their ticket simply gets flagged to the bottom of the pile instead.

We do take harassment cases very seriously Loremistress and I appreciate that you would like to see your petition answered faster, but tickets are dealt with in a certain order. Rest assured that we will fully investigate the issue and take the appropriate action.
