About 2 months ago someone sold me Lil Ragnaros and the moonkin hatchling for in game gold. He did this by giving me the code to enter, after i'd given him half the price, then i gave him the rest. We worked it out. A couple days later the pet was stripped from my account, the reason given that he had no right to sell what was essentially Blizzard property for in game gold. Your GM even refused to refund my gold.

NOW you make pets that its a'ok to sell in game?

Blizzard had a change of mind.

The GM team and the Dev team are seperate teams.

While this has been covered fairly well, I did want to correct this point.

This is not true, nothing has really changed.

You still are not allowed to sell out of game things for ingame gold. The new pet will be a tradeable IN GAME item, and does not break this longstanding rule at all.

If it doesn't have something that can be handed to you ingame, don't use ingame gold for it. In simplest terms that's probably the best rule of thumb.
