It’s with great sadness that all good things do come to an end in one way or another. For me this is undoubtedly one of those times.

Eighteen months have gone by since I first set foot into these forums and time has flown by. It’s been a great eighteen months and without a doubt it has been a era I will never forget. I have learned a great deal from all of you and my experiences here will be taken with me into the future as I explore new, green pastures.

Best of luck, and may the Cataclysm be kind to you all. So long, and thanks for all the shinies!

I've never been much of a fan of brevity, so, ahem...

Thundgot moving upwards pulled me up in his wake.
Leaving a hole in our team, a missing slice in the cake.
I sent out a call and you made a clear reply.
Now, 18 months later, your departure makes me cry.

Anyhow, I digress; this isn't my stage, it's your farewell thread. Though I respect you want to continue your search for new shinies in other places, I can only see the wealth of shinies that are still here. I dearly wish you could stay to continue to help us discover them. You've left some big boots, though they do smell of a gorloc. But with cleaning and a bit of a polish they should soon be fine, though definitely hard to fill.

You will be missed, my friend. Thank you, good luck and goodbye. :-(
