Legendary Quest: How to acquire branch?

So I finished up 25 embers and went in to the raid to see what we're facing tomorrow to get the branch. The portal that I was under the impression of being the access point to this boss is not working. Anyone have any luck with this?

If you've reached the Delegation portion of the legendary quest line, it's a puzzle that intrepid raiders will need to solve starting on your next instance reset. Keep on the lookout for key hints and items during each boss fight in your raid after the next maintenance period.

No one could have predicted my post about the legendary caster staff quest line would be followed by three blood elf paladin responses. ;)
