Holy priest dps?

Hey, ive been playing a 70 mage for a while now. Getting kinda bored rolled this shaman and got bored again :(

I was just wondering if a holy/disc priest could dps in 70 instances and maybe kara. Im guessing that its gonna be abit crap compared to shadow and other casters, but i was wondering if anyone had tryed it and wat the results were.

You would probably want a healer of some sort, Vampiric Embrace is good, but not that good, unless you're relying on the smite priest, ret paladin and elemental shaman throwing out the occasional heal too - which I guess would be fine.

I have Holy-DPSed in some level 70 5 man instances, but I agree with Voltair and the others here that mana concerns seriously limit viability in a raid environment.
