I think someone suggested this when blizzard were gathering feedback for the rogue patch so apologies to whoever for stealing your idea. It was overlooked then but maybe in BC where more classes are getting some kind of pet or temporary minion it might be worth reconsidering. This would be a disorientating ability where the rogue uses smoke and mirrors to create several illusions of themselves.
Also since some of the classes are gaining abilities that expand their utility (increased AOE for warlocks, pets for shaman, etc.) how about giving us the often suggested fan of knives as an aoe ability?
