if the guy said yo gimme that to the lootmaster and the lootmaster gave it to him and logged out can u report them and get them banned?

As Larkín indicated, Shark, the Master Looter may give any item to whomever they wish for any reason or no reason at all. That is the power you grant to them when you use the Master Looting system.

The only exception would be if the Master Looter established specific looting rules and then violated those rules. This does not include player defined conditions such as MS > OS. If you believe a scam has taken place you may submit a petition, if a violation of our policies has been found appropriate actions will be taken.

Please keep in mind though that a redistribution or reassignment of loot/gold is not guaranteed. We will take actions based on a possible scam but we do not generally intervene with loot distribution.

Master Looter is intended for guilds and other groups of people who have reason to trust one another, not strangers. Need before Greed or Group loot would be the better method for pick up groups, when possible, use those to avoid such situations.
