GC: Ferals scaling defensively from AP

You have said that this is problematic because of the large difference in AP between 5 mans and raids due to buffs. This is quite understandable, but something needs to be done to make druids scale defensively from offensive stats like AP since we are forced to tank in gear with large amounts of it, and the stat points spent on it are at the expense of things like agi. Therefore, why not give us defensive scaling based only on AP granted either through +strength or +AP modifiers on our gear, not modified by any buffs? This would solve both the disparity between 5 mans and raids and the druid scaling issues (although block is still OP, that's a problem shared between druids and DKs).

AP -> defensive stat might be okay if it only counted AP from gear and not from buffs. We already have some balance issues in the game we aren't happy with that occur because of high scaling in larger groups.

Arcane Int for example was intended to buff your Int, not as something that would feed into your talents to boost other abilities.
