These concern me severely.

These are great weapons, but the fact is that DKs have now basically been pigeon holed into 1 of 2 weapons.

As there is nothing with the stam or avoidance that these 2 handers provide, DKs are going to be running with this weapon from the second its crafted (can have it before you even ding 80, without setting foot in even a 5 man) and they will never see a true upgrade.

These weapons provide a great boost, but it worries me that they're going to be all a death knight will ever use again. Hopefully there are upgrade versions in ulduar. I don't want to be running around with this thing for the rest of WotLK

The two-handed Blacksmithing tanking weapons are not going to be implemented.

Indeed, we did not want to stick DKs with these weapons forever, nor did we want to start itemizing 2H tanking weapons forever. DKs were designed to tank with 2H dps weapons.

The new sigil and runeforge enchant should help players with low defense.
