The character selection screen is almost completely black and the text is orange. I thought this might change when I selected a character and entered the game but it didn't.

I changed graphic settings to 1 but it made no difference.

As of now the beta is unplayable.

If you delete your config file, this will probably resolve the issue.

C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft Beta\WTF\Config.wtf

For a less aggressive approach, you can probably just delete the line that says:

SET Gamma ...
