Curious if you might have insight into my issue.

I play on desktop and laptop, but this is specifically for my laptop. Once day, not sure how it happened, but my battle.net starting requiring that I install WoW even though I have it on the computer already.

I didn't want to do that so I just used the client right out of the program folder and have been doing so. Now with this new patch, I have no way of getting it up-to-date without using battle.net (I think?).

So my question to you is whether or not there are any other options I can do aside from uninstalling and re-installing the entire game again. I don't have an option to run a repair under options because battle.net thinks that the game isn't even on my computer and if I try and point battle.net to the folder, it doesn't show any executable files in the WoW when looking at it through battle.net.

Thoughts?

Moneyshock,

Is the game as installed on your desktop PC working properly with the Desktop App?

Moneyshock,

Try copying the Wow-64.exe file from your desktop PC to your laptop's
game folder and see if it will allow the Scan and Repair then.
