Will a returning player be left behind?

Hello guys.

I havent played WoW since Warlords of Draenor and Im now considering to start playing again.
Im just wondering how this will play out.
Will I forever be behind gearwise? Outgeared for the rest of the expansion.
Will it take forever to build up my artifact?

Or is it easy to gear up?

Welcome back! Rest assured it is not too late to make the most out of your Legion experience ;)

With the item level increase for rewards from world quests and dungeons, you can get a decent set of gear for your character rather quickly once you hit 110.

As for your artifact, Artifact Knowledge is still increasing weekly, which would allow you to catch up on your artifact levels.
