Mage tower artifact skin question

Need someone to confirm this please, (could not find answer in forum history if there is answer to it please link me to the thread).

When we unlock all mage tower skins for only one spec (haven't done quest for others) lets say feral for example.

What happens after that when we do mage tower for guardian spec later?
Do i need to do the 10 RBG wins again because i didn't own that appearance at the moment i farming the other 3 variants for feral?

I think this may be what you are looking for (from the patch notes)? :)

Challenge Appearances – You are no longer required to be using your current specialization’s Challenge Artifact Appearance to gain progress towards unlocking its 3 color variants. You can now gain progress towards unlocking the 3 color variants of your Artifact’s Challenge Appearances set while you are in any spec and using any Artifact appearance, as long as you have unlocked the base challenge appearance for a given spec.
