Warforge/Titanforge has to go

It's no fun to run things you no longer require hoping for a titanforge. It's no fun having to run a lot of mythic+ just to hope you get a titanforge. We're queueing stuff not hoping to get the baseline item but to get it warforged/titanforged.

Furthermore, this system makes it so that basically everyone can get at mythic raiding item level by simply spamming dungeons. This isn't 'bad' but it does promote an inflated 'gear requirement' for content you massively outgear.

Just now I saw several groups asking for 910+ for a heroic nighthold/gul'dan. 910 is the baseline item level that drops on MYTHIC gul'dan. People are asking for 900/905/910 for +10s sometimes even as low as +7 mythic dungeons.

What is the point to titanforged gear if all it does is inflate stuff and force people to queue FOR the titanforge rather than the normal gear.

I really hope that next expansion we will be rid of this toxic mechanic because it truly amplifies the elitism people have when it comes to demands for their pugs.

Hello, as the OP and others have pointed out, we do have quite a long ongoing discussion about this. You're free to continue that discussion over in that thread:
