Let us show as "offline" Part 2

Since the other thread reached the limit on comments I'm starting this one.

On our btags, not everyone wants to get the message "Hey lets run mythics" right when they login or "Hey can you tank this" all the time.

Actually, you shouldn't NEED a reason as to why you want to appear offline to your friends. Maybe you just wanna solo stuff without being interrupted.

Inb4 "well why did you add them then!"

That's irrelevant, message services like Skype and Yahoo messenger have options to show as "offline" so asking for it to be implemented for WoW isn't uncommon.

340 some odd people liked my original post, compared to the 40 dislikes..

It's painfully obvious that we want it implemented.

Hey all,

Apologies on the last thread capping. We've upped the cap on this one, so please use this thread going forward.

As we've said in the past, an offline mode is something we would like to see through the Blizzard App, and it's still being looked into. We've had other projects over the past few years that have pushed this out a bit so I think our original communication may have been a bit ahead of its time, but I've made sure the team is aware that this is still a feature players would like to see.
