"Non-PvP" specs

I can perfectly see why the protection tree for warriors or paladins is not the best one for PvP.

But why wouldn't specs like destruction (lock) or feral (druid) be suited for PvP ?

Stop saying "don't PvP with non-PvP specs". Blizzard, you need to FIX those specs, that people enjoy playing (despite being owned in PvP just because their talent tree is broken) for more than 2 years.

PS : by "broken" I mean really gimped, not broken like the subtlety tree for rogues.

Thank you for reading.

It is true that some specs struggle more than others when it comes to PvP, which is something that we have acknowledged before. PvP balance is a rather complex thing in this game, and the most important thing when talking about PvP balance, is to focus on classes overall to make sure that they are all fairly equally represented, viable and balanced for PvP in at least one way or another.

This means that some specs are simply just better for PvP, just as others are best for PvE. We fully realize that this may potentially be quite annoying to you if the spec you prefer happens to be more suited for PvE than PvP, but please keep in mind that making all specs of all classes equally viable and balanced for everything in the game is an entirely different story altogether, and it is most certainly easier said than done. However when that has been said, the developers continue to work on balance and viability for different classes and specs.
