I read the following news wire from the Belgian press agency BELGA a few minutes ago. I translated it for you. English isn't my mother tongue, so please forgive me for any spelling/grammar errors. The original can be found here: http://www.demorgen.be/dm/nl/nieuws/multimedia/329483?wt.bron=Hotlist (Dutch language)

Ex-girlfriends of WoW players make a stand

Gaming is addictive, which is especially frustrating for the players' girlfriends. The women are fed up with the lack of attention from their partners and have united to found the World of Warcraft Widows.

"I tried the game and it was fun, but it wasn't so great. We broke up after we hadn't had sex for a week and he'd still preferred to go to a virtual WoW party instead of going to bed with me," an angry woman said. "I lie in bed naked, begging for a little attention so I wouldn't start to feel like an object that he's bored with. I don't mind him playing, it's the amount of time he spends playing it that frustrates me", said another woman.

My advice: There is moderation to everything. Including World of Warcraft. And don't start to think that all WoW players are like this. I'm absolutely sure that there are many people who can strike a fine balance between playing a nice game and spending time with their nice boy/girlfriend. I even know a few couples that play together!

Remember the loading screen tip: "Take everything into moderation, even World of Warcraft!" ;)

Locking this, the tone in this thread is very rude, please discuss in a civilised manner.
