Whats happed to Rare Spawns

Rare Spawns the ones ive seen which are 1 in Blades Edge and 2 in Shadowmoon so far, have got me baffled. It used to be rare spawns are normal mobs named normal difficulty good loot.

OMG i popped recklessness on 2 of these and the damage i did didnt even make his hp bar twitch and they 3-4 hitted me.

Are rare spawns some sort of World Boss now or something daft?

the 3 i saw were (cant remember names)

A Gron - Blades Edge Mountains
A Floting Eye - Shadowmoon Valley around the Alter of Damnation
a Massive Fire Demon - between Illdari Point and Wilhammer Stronghold in Shadowmoon Valley

They must have been elite rare spawns ..

I'd love to answer that, but unlike you, I'm not level 70 yet.
So, your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to travel Outland and report back to us what kind of rare spawns you find ;)

You should have 7-8 Characters at level 70 by now...

From now on Aeus, 2 hour Sleep, 4 Hours Forum-browsing/responding and 18 hours Power-grinding for you :p

I'd love to; unfortunately my base troll damage is 8 hours on the Off Topic forums and I am forced to work around that.
