The last days, whenever I type http://www.wow-europe.com in my web browser, I see spaceships. Why does Blizzard treat its customers like that?

This website is created for a specific game online computer game: World of Warcraft. It should not be Blizzard's advertising playground for other games (be it Warcraft, Startcraft, Diablo, Trading Card games, Vikings or whetever). If you feel like advertising other product of yours, at least do it in a discreet manner, by placing a relevant informative text somewhere on the front page.

All that big front screen is saying to me is: WE WANT YOUR MONEY.

Don't get me wrong, I love Starcraft and I played a lot. And surely I'm going to buy it whenever it's out. But, rest assured, all Blizzard's fans knew a new game would be announced and when the game's title was announced we all knew which game it was.

Maybe that kind of advertising methods are tolerated in other parts of the world, but I don't think they match well with the European players' culture.

Bad form Blizzard, bad form.
