Load times in excess of 1 min is not really acceptable, and thats if you're lucky enough for it to load at all...
It was probably due to the heavy load.
Authentication servers seem to be back up now.

Yeah, it didn't work when the authentication server was down, but it should be back now. This is what I'm checking at the moment, will get back to you when I know anything.
